Cassidy & Henry {Utah Couple Photography}

Cassidy is a good friend of mine, that I've known for as long as I can remember. I actually used to babysit her.
Now she's all grown up and is as beautiful inside as she is outside!
She wanted some pictures of her and her boyfriend, Henry, to put in her new apartment. So I was so happy to do a couples photography session for them! They are so cute together. Here's some pictures from their photoshoot...

We also did some individual shots of just Cassidy...

Isn't she stunning?!

What a fun couple session this was! Thanks Cassidy & Henry!

Photowalking Utah - Studio Lighting Photowalk

Last month I attended a Photowalking Utah event. A bunch of photographers gathered together to experience different kinds of studio lighting. There were about 10 different stations, each with a different kind of lighting setup. It was a great learning experience, and it also made me wish I could afford all the expensive lighting equipment that I tried out; because WOW, that sure is some beautiful lighting on those models! But for now, the lighting I already have will do. :)

Here are some of my favorites from the day:

For one setup, they had a pool and sprinkler system to look like it was raining. The poor models got so cold!

Cassidy's Senior Portraits...sort of...

I used to babysit this lovely young lady, and now she's all grown up...doing grown up things, like getting married (back in January) and going to college. Cassidy asked me to do some "senior" style portraits for her since she never did any back when she was still in high school. It was fun to hang out with her again after not seeing each other for quite some time! And trust me, she's as sweet and kind as she is beautiful. :)

"Trash the Dress" Photoshoot

For our Meetup activity last month, we went out to Utah Lake and "trashed" the model's dresses. And the few male models that were there, didn't wear dresses of course, they trashed their dressy clothes.
We waded out into the shallow water and had a blast getting some fun shots!

I'm SO glad I made it to the end of the night without tripping and falling down into the water with all my camera equipment on me!

{Picture of the Week} 18th Week

This was such a fun photoshoot with my Meetup group!
We went out to Utah Lake, and the models sacrificed their pretty dresses for a "trash the dress" photoshoot.

More pictures from this shoot are yet to come!

It's been a while...

I've been busy, so this blog has been put on the back burner for a few weeks, therefore I haven't been doing my "picture of the week". I'll continue on with that next week. But for now, here's a few more pictures from a Meetup activity I attended a few weeks ago. Meet Angie.

{Picture of the Week} 15th Week

I have two pictures that I want to share this week, because I like them equally.

On Tuesday I went to the ProvoCreative Models/Photographers Meetup activity for July. The photographers outnumbered the models by far, but it was still fun and the location was beautiful!

This lovely model's name is Emily (great name).

The sunlight was so dreamy reflecting off of the water. Plus the cotton flying around in the air made the pictures look magical. :)

Photographers & Models Meetup @ the ol' Sinclair

Like I said in my last post, I attended a Provo Creative Meetup activity last week. It's a group where photographers and models can meet together monthly to practice and have fun with our hobbies.

We met at an old Sinclair gas station in American Fork. There were old cars and motorcycles, it was a pretty cool place to shoot.

Here are some pictures I took of some of the models in the group:
